Dayana Zamora is a Board Certified LCSW Supervisor in Texas and she has been a Field Instructor and currently is a Faculty Liaison for master-level students.

Two options:

If you already have an agency and there's no social worker available, Dayana can be your Field Instructor. ​

If you are needing a site to complete your hours and you are bilingual (English and Spanish), Dayana offers virtual internship opportunities across Texas.
At Vita, interns provide psychoeducation and therapy sessions to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Ages vary from youth to adults. Concentration is the application of counseling services utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Interns also participate in community events and presentations raising awareness regarding mental health services.

Required Skills:

Ability to work independently

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Willingness to learn computer applications necessary for work functions including social media

Ability to adapt to changing situations and various personalities with a positive attitude

Jurisprudence Examination: You must take this when you apply for any social work license or to upgrade your LMSW to LCSW. The certificate for taking the exam is only valid for 6 months. This costs $39.
